Doctor of the Day
The Oklahoma Osteopathic Association (OOA) will sponsor the Doctor of the Day Program during the month of March 2009 at the Oklahoma State Capitol. This will be the 35th year osteopathic physicians have provided this service at the State Capitol's First Aid Station during the legislative session. Physicians are supported by a nurse, as well as a medical student from the OSU Center for Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine.
The Doctor of the Day Program gives DOs an opportunity to bring osteopathic medicine to the policy makers, as well as see their House and Senate members at work.
