Since the book was first published in 1978, the profession has grown beyond any dreams. The statistics continue to validate the author's prediction, "the osteopathic profession has been and will continue to be a vitally important part of a solution to the rural health-care problems."

This Millennium Edition is a great resource for libraries, students, patients or anyone interested in better understanding the role of osteopathic physicians in the health care delivery system. This book will make a positive difference in your knowledge of osteopathic medicine.

All proceeds from the sale of this book go to the Oklahoma Educational Foundation for Osteopathic Medicine whose primary purpose is to assist osteopathic medical students with scholarships and help support the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine.
