Are you following the state’s opioid prescribing guidelines?

Last year, the Opioid Prescribing Guidelines for Oklahoma Workgroup created framework for providers who prescribe opioids. The guidelines seek to improve communication between patients and health care providers about the risks and benefits of opioids and improve the effectiveness of pain management. The OOA endorsed these guidelines and you can find them here.
