The mission of the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association is to advocate for the osteopathic profession and promote the health and well being of all Oklahomans. By volunteering on one or more of the OOA's Bureaus, you can help fulfill the mission of the OOA.

Bureau on Continuing Medical Education: this bureau is charged with the responsibility of providing AOA Category 1-A courses for OOA members' weekend educational seminars to be held at a time determined by the Bureau and approved by the Board.
Bureau on Legislation: this bureau organizes efforts to block unfavorable regulations and support favorable laws in the state agencies and legislature. It reviews proposed laws and takes timely actions to support or oppose issues. Quite often the bureau works in conjunction with a retained lobbyist. Participation in D.O. Day on the Hill and PAC solicitation and participation encouraged.
Bureau on Member Services: this bureau is responsible for the tangible and intangible reasons that members join and support the Association.
Bureau on Postgraduate Education: this bureau is charged with the responsibility of being the liaison group between the profession and AOA-approved postgraduate opportunities. It shall assist in all matters relating to postgraduate education in Oklahoma and especially for OSU-COM students and Oklahoma students attending osteopathic colleges in other states.
Bureau on Public Awareness: this bureau shall deal with all matters relating to public relations, promoting and maintaining the proper relationship between the profession and the public.
