Volunteer for Doctor of the Day

Each year the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association sponsors the Doctor of the Day program during the month of March at the Oklahoma State Capitol. This program provides you with a great opportunity to serve our state's leaders and advocate on behalf of your profession, by spending one day at the Oklahoma State Capitol as the "Doctor of the Day".

Each physician volunteer can expect to see a handful of patients, be introduced in the House and Senate chambers, and meet with their legislators. We will provide you with talking points so you'll know the most pressing issues affecting you and your patients.

The hours of commitment for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon. If you're interested in serving, please fill out the form below and select the dates that work for you.
