Physician Wellness Resources

The OOA Physician Wellness Bureau strives to advance the health and well-being of physicians and student doctors in Oklahoma through thoughtful advocacy, social awareness, continuing education, and targeted resources.
Physician burnout poses a significant challenge to the healthcare industry, affecting both provider and patient well-being. The Oklahoma Osteopathic Association recognizes the critical importance of physician wellness and is committed to supporting our members. Burnout can lead to a range of negative consequences, including depression, early retirement, self-harm, and impaired patient care. We would like to offer resources designed to help physicians and student doctors prioritize their mental and physical health to better serve our great state and profession.
Participating in the wellness bureau is open to any OOA member. The bureau typically meets virtually every other month. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact jacob@okosteo.org to get information on the upcoming meeting.
