Program DescriptionNeeds Assessment: Continuing Medical Education is a key component of maintaining an effective medical practice. Staying up to date on a variety of topics is part of life-long learning. The practice of medicine is constantly evolving and requires a dedication to learning about new and changing guidelines and practices. The 2024 Winter CME brings together experts from an assortment of fields in a single location to help build bridges between primary and specialty care. Program Objectives: At the completion of this seminar, attendees will have a better understanding of best practices for a variety of conditions, updated treatment and diagnostic modalities, as well as relevant information on legal and legislative topics applicable to current practice. Program AgendaThe OOA designates this activity for 17 AOA Category 1-A credit hours and will report CME commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
Accessing Lectures & Obtaining CreditRegistrants will be emailed the Zoom link to access the live lectures the week of the Seminar. If you are new to Zoom or encounter any difficulties, it is advisable to reach out to OOA staff to assist you with this in advance of the program dates. You can reach the OOA staff at (405) 528-4848. Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60611, 800-621-1773. How Speakers and Topics Are Selected
The Oklahoma Osteopathic Association’s Bureau on Continuing Medical Education meets at least twice annually to choose seminar chairs, topics of interest, and the best presenters available to speak on each chosen topic. In addition, past program evaluations are used in determining speakers and topics from past conferences. Grievance Policy
Program grievances will be presented to the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees and dealt with appropriately. If this action did not resolve the problem to satisfaction, the person with the grievance will be directed to the American Osteopathic Association’s Division of Continuing Medical Education. |
